A folk duo? Well, there are some traditional songs in our act ... but not exclusively. We’re just as happy performing an acoustic version of Snow Patrol’s ‘Chasing Cars’ as we are belting out that Jacobite classic, ‘Parcel Of Rogues’.
Not to mention original material such as the prize-winning songs ‘James And Mary Jane’ (Poynton Folk Festival Singer/Songwriter 2003) and ‘Cheese & Onion Pie’ (Ingleton Comic Song, 2009), or maybe harking back to the 1960s ‘Whiter Shade Of Pale’ by Procul Harem. Or contemporary songs by Amy McDonald or Mumford & Sons.
